Still Bill Still

MOTHER

One of the reasons that Country Squire called the US Elections correctly was my devotion to updates from a gentleman by the name of Bill Still, a Washington insider who publishes daily bulletins on the Bill Still Channel here.

Bill is a former newspaper editor and publisher, best-selling author and award-winning documentary writer and director. He has written for USA Today, The Saturday Evening Post, the Los Angeles Times Syndicate, OMNI magazine, and produced the syndicated radio program, Health News. He has written 20 books, including his latest, No More National Debt (March 2011); and three feature-length documentaries, including: The Money Masters (1995) – The 15th-most- watched film on the Internet in history; The Secret of Oz – Winner of Best Documentary of 2010 at the Beloit International Film Festival, Jekyll Island, and The Truth Behind the Federal Reserve. His films can be accessed here via his website

What I like about Bill is that when he calls something wrong he puts his hands up and tells his followers that, well, he got it wrong.

The thing is, Bill is rarely wrong.

He’s a fastidious follower of underlying poll data and has a hotline to numerous Washington play-makers on Capitol Hill, who are always ready and willing to slip him the latest curve of intrigue and an outline of any inside plays. Bill’s quick to haul in the multiple parameters and pitch a common-sense picture to his followers.

Bill works hard. His bulletins are almost daily. He doesn’t mess about with fluff. He gets down to the nitty-gritty and you know that key points will be elaborated upon – only if they are relevant – in any future bulletins.

Bill sits in front of a curtain, films himself on a webcam and doesn’t bother with airs and graces. That doesn’t stop him having 80,000 subscribers and over 1 million views per month. That’s more of an audience than many mainstream commentators, who fall back on a studio salary, a team of researchers and the comfort of a TV set.

Bill’s definitely worth keeping up with over the next key months as Donald Trump takes the keys to the White House, Alinskyite placers get exposed and nailed; as the Clintons’ wriggle turns into a full-on jiggle.

Expect Bill’s reports to be fascinating.

Bill also covers what’s going on this side of the pond. He did a sterling job on Brexit and is well-tuned into the ins and outs of the European immigration stampede and the likely collapse of the EU in coming years. He has multiple EU-based wranglers slipping him news.

To most Brits it seems far-fetched to think that the EU is a house of cards. Yet a year ago you’d have told me that Trump stood no chance of getting into the Oval Office and that Brexit was pie in the sky. Bill works his traplines assiduously – gathering economic, political and polling data to fashion smart predictions that invariably come true.

Best political commentator in the US right now?

It’s still Bill Still.

  1. If you think Bill has been superb with his analysis of Donald Trump and the polls, you should read and watch what he says about monetary reform. He is brilliant, and in my humble opinion, offers the true solution for all of our economic woes. I Just hope Trump pays attention to his writings and videos, too.

  2. I came across him a couple of moths prior to the election and he consistently had the most balanced and truthful commentary on polls and related matters; I love it when he is so embarrassed getting something wrong (it happened once I think) and he was falling over himself apologising and correcting it; go Bill! We’re still with you 🙂

  3. I stumbled across Bill’s channel after the Primaries. Very concise, engaging and accurate. It’s no wonder the legacy media are not fans of alternative media, because people like Me. Still make them irrelevant!

  4. Also worth following Martin Armstrong too……his (computer) system also predicted the Trump win with a clear majority.

  5. Its Bill’s world, we just live in it. Long time supporter and he got it spot on. Establishment on the run, and good job too.

  6. Been watching Bill for 18 months and called a Trump win, to the amazement of my colleagues in the Bank, the day after he announced his bid in July 2015. They were all wrong I was spot on.

  7. I still have my signed copy of “No more national debt”, a book which changed my whole outlook on the monetary and banking system. I’ve been following Bill’s videos on YouTube and I agree that he was the one person that “got it right”. He did both Donald Trump, and America, a great service.

  8. I get from Bill in 2 to 10 minutes what other bloggers rant about for half an hour or more and with far better accuracy. Try and see!

  9. I love Bill Still because he is honest and I trust him. I have seen him correct stories on numerous occasions and even admit when he had been duped by a news source. He is the person I listened to about the polls in the USA elections when everyone else had it so wrong.

  10. Agree absolutely. His delivery can be a bit monotone but, unlike most commentators, Bill goes for delivery of facts. The best.
