BY VALENTYNA HOLLOWAY
I am Your sin and Your salvation.
I am the light,
the fog,
the mist.
I am the one torn
by the icy grip of abandonment.
I am the waves,
the ocean,
the shipwreck on Your shore.
I am the one on a plinth
in a lone ivory tower.
I am the the cherry blossoms in Spring,
the Summer petals,
and the Autumn leaves.
I am the snowflakes
in Winter that softly caress Your cheek.
I am Your arcane love,
Your passionate future
and Your mingled stardust.
I am the one You push away
and the one You are magnetically drawn to.
I am Yours.
I see you picking up sea shells on the seashore. Take time finding me a nice one.
Nice to see a poem headlining this journal. Very enjoyable, Valentyna.
