History was made yesterday after the Queen gave Royal Assent to the Brexit Bill – clearing the way for Theresa May to trigger Britain’s divorce from the EU. Speaker John Bercow told the Commons that the monarch has formally signed off the European Union (Notification of Withdrawal) Bill. But although the PM now has the powers to invoke the two-year Article 50 process for leaving the Brussels club, she has indicated she will wait until the end of the month to do so.
Mrs May has said that the invoking of Article 50 will be a ‘defining moment’ for Britain. Meanwhile Brexit Secretary Mr Davis declared that the government now had the power to “deliver on the will of the British people. By the end of the month we will invoke Article 50, allowing us to start our negotiations to build a positive new partnership with our friends and neighbours in the European Union, as well as taking a step out into the world as a truly Global Britain”.
Theresa May should be applauded for overcoming resistance from many so far. She is right to warn of bumps in the road.
Brexit was inevitable after the Referendum vote last year.
So why oh why did the likes of Gina Miller poke their noses in and try and resist the will of the British People?
Some people never learn.
They should be ashamed of themselves.
Let us unite and deliver a stinging rebuke to those Europeans who think the UK is headed for disaster. Time to heal divides and build world-conquering businesses in a Post-EU Great Britain.

Hmm – lets see now…..what possible motive could interfering foreign millionairess Gina Singh from Guyana, together with the thousands upon thousands of others who know on which side their bread is buttered – the MPs and Lords who receive EU-pensions (under threat of having them cut-off if they ever speak out against the EU…), those at the top of the BBC, local government, health service chiefs, etc etc possibly have for supporting an institution that makes them rich without ever having a proper job ?
Our political classes have largely been suborned with EU money, and the greedy snouts of the Kinnocks and Clarkes of this world will have to be dragged squealing from the trough.
May must deliver. Or she’s history.
