Despite being an atheist, I’ve come to realise how disastrous our abandonment of Christianity has been. Our entire western moral code was built around the Judaeo-Christian heritage. You simply cannot scrap that without terrible consequences.
At one time every village church in England would be packed out, all the time. So much so that religious services were only a part of that. It was in ghastly modern parlance a community hub. People would meet and talk. They would know their neighbours and share their experiences. The community was a living thing.
The modern western community is quite often like a dead coral reef. There are no connections, no links. People live next to each other for years and never talk. The structure is there, the coral, but not the other living things. There is no tide of contact, no nurturing sea of shared experience. People occupy space the way atoms that cannot bind to each other do. The social devastation of the removal of a binding faith, as well as the moral one, is obvious.
Globalism and wokeness intend the utter destruction of everything traditional, everything we inherited. That means the nation state and patriotism, that means the nuclear family and normal sexual and gender definitions and behaviours, that means perverting every old institution into a sick opposite reflection of everything it once was. In faith, it means a secular society with a church led by people who themselves are faithless betrayers of their alleged calling, like the Woke Pope or the NPC Archbishop of Canterbury. Once perhaps this was not a directed thing, but merely the grinding shift of economic forces. Perhaps once it wasn’t a malign plan, just a short-term profit. But today thanks to transnational organisations like the WEF and the EU, and thanks to ideological perversions like Critical Race Theory and Modern Monetary Theory, it is purposeful and sinister. What was general greed or undirected change, or feeble witted opinion became actual conspiracy many years ago.
The Church was just like every institution the conspirators marched through, as is the Army and the Royal Family, or the Parliament or the Senate or the Congress. But it’s a double loss in those institutions that were the upholders of tradition. Because once these are subverted, the expected bases of resistance are already captured. Once these are gone, the people in distress call for the destruction that the globalists want. This is especially true of the Churches. For they embodied the things that made us moral. If they are ruled by perverts and woke ideologies, what was our moral lifeblood becomes a beating heart of darkness, which when witnessed induces the despair that no longer seeks to resist anything.
They capture the thing you love, make a mockery of it, until those who love it most are keen to see it die. They either own it, or it is destroyed.
Only recapturing these things truly opposes the malign conspirators. Only recovering our faith, our knowledge that the Church is more than the pervert priest or that the Army is more than General Milley.
The darker the deeds of your rulers, the more that the light of your patriotism is needed. It is faith in that which moves the mountains of corruption. We must have faith in the fight, even if we are not believers in God. And we must know that the fight only ends when the last spark of faith in us is extinguished. The other side cannot end it by their victories. They end it when we turn our swords upon tradition too, which is a cultural suicide prompted by the Enemy.
