Women of Courage

BY MAHIMA SHARMA

Courage is not a Towering Oak,

So we don’t see storms touch and go

We are rather those fragile-looking blossoms,

That open up in the wildest storm,

And flourish amid the thickest snow,

Because we are the women…Women of Courage.

Courage to stand out,

Courage to be me,

Courage to fight out,

Courage to believe in me,

Courage to accept that I am a Woman of Courage.

A woman of valour,

Mighty in the battle of life,

A woman of valour,

Victorious amid flying swords,

A woman of Valour

Flying to the Moon,

A woman of Valour,

With fists against a Goon,

Courage defines me,

And I define courage,

My place does not define me,

Coz I am a Woman of Courage.

Confident in our thoughts,

Compassionate in our acts,

Smart in the head,

Courageous in our heart,

We are the Women of Courage.

Our courage doesn’t always roar,

But it always makes us soar,

So sky is our limit,

And flight starts from Horizon,

Coz We are Women

The Women of Courage!
