Blossom Like A Flower

Listen to this article

BY MAHIMA SHARMA

Oh, I wish to be that evergreen flower,

That yellow blossom with its Sunshine shower!

That golden hue I see outside my window,

May that always shine bright in my Life.

I wish to blossom like a flower,

And embrace Life in its full bloom,

Not wither at the sight of a storm,

Not shrivel back at any gloom.

May I always blossom like a flower,

Even when the snow of dejection hits me,

May I always blossom like a flower,

Even when the drought of harassment pits me.

May I always blossom like a flower,

Growing on the soil of blessings that Life has given me,

The breeze whistling through the petals of my schemes,

The rain humming through the fragrance of my dreams.
