Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine I trust that You are well and that Your families are happy and healthy. This week I would like to focus on stress, which is a condition We all experience at one time or another, some more than others.
This week let us remember those who are returning home in a rush to dying loved ones, parents standing over a sick child, workers counting down the hours of their Sunday before returning to a workplace they detest, priests losing their faith who have to say Mass, young brides with arranged marriages they do not wish to enter – the list is endless. What We sometimes perceive as stress is as nothing compared to a Syrian family dodging bombs. Without stress in our lives would We ever achieve beyond that which can be considered comfortable and average?
If there are stressful people in Your life who are causing You stress and You have tried Your best, ask Yourself if those people are ever going to be right. What is Your purpose on this planet? Should You not bypass those who are holding You back when Your destiny is for other things? There is some just thinking in such thoughts and You owe it to Yourself and family to consider the what ifs. If there are others who are going out of their way to cause You stress then rather than solely praying perhaps find Yourself a good lawyer? Stress kills and We all need to gauge and manage it.
Today, rather than focusing on others, I would like You to take apart Your stress. Have a wonderful week ahead and a truly peaceful Sunday. God Bless.
Loving God, please grant me peace of mind and calm my troubled heart. Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path you’ve laid out for me. I trust your Love God and know that you will heal this stress. Just as the sun rises each day against the dark of night.
