Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine, I trust that You are well. If You have children, I wish them the very best as they prepare to return to school or to start university.

This week I am responding to a request from someone in the Country Squire team who is selling their company. There is nothing wrong in asking God to assist when You sell a company or attempt a deal or look for work.

Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Proverbs 3:5 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”

There are plenty of passages in the Bible to assist You as You strive towards success.

Faithful Father,

I need your help with my anxious heart. You have blessed me with a successful business and have provided for me through the growth process. I praise you for your constant faithfulness. I know in my heart it is time to sell the business so I can pursue other ventures. Right now, I feel overwhelmed with anxiety and uncertainty about what the future holds. Please help me find peace and calm in this moment of transition.

I ask that you guide me toward the right path and help me make the best decisions for myself and those affected by this change. Please grant me the strength and courage to face any challenges that may arise, and to trust in the journey ahead. I pray that as I pursue my next adventure, you will be with me all the way. I want to lean on you through each step. I am standing on your word that you will provide for all my needs mentally and financially in the years to come.

I release my fears and worries to you, and ask that you replace them with hope, faith, and a sense of clarity. I trust that you have a plan for my life, and that everything will unfold as it should.
