Let Love Be Forever

BY MAHIMA SHARMA

Strong was the trust when love blossomed,

In the lap of early romantic years,

Then what sudden feeling crept in,

Turning hugs and kisses into tears?

You may not love him, she may not care,

But remember you were soulmates, forever to be there

She is your light in the darkest night,

He is your Rainbow through the storm of might.

So, don’t grow apart…for another love to be found

Introspect…hunt..resolve, the lost bouquet will be found,

Stop a while to ponder how the seed of love will be siwn,

Stop a while to wonder why you & she are so alone.

Love for a while, even if attraction is none at all,

A genuine affection returns…surely at a hearty call,

Just Love….even if the moon may not shine in her eyes,

Just Love…even though all he mentions…are Goodbyes.

Just love…even when she doesn’t seem to be your Queen,

Just love…even if he stands stubborn…no longer keen,

Be the flower that your Bee won’t miss,

Be the beach that your Horizon will kiss.

A trust to hold, a life to live,

And lots of trust & faith to give,

A love that turns tears to laughter,

A love that takes you in arms of care,

A love that lasts beyond the wrinkles,

A love that binds the souls together,

And an equal will to share

His victories and her tears.

So be the wind that whistles her name,

So be the star that twinkles his fame,

No river is quite as vast,

No mountain’s reach so high,

No melody is quite as sweet,

As the love we hold inside,

Come on…Shatter the Ego,

Let the stream of Love…free flow,

Let the Love be… Forever!
