Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine, I trust that You are well and healthy. Let us hope that by this time next week We have a Prime Minister to lead us.

I know that these days are tough. This time of year often is. However this year is a year of high energy bills, inflation and rising interest rates. For many this will be the first time in their adult lives that they have faced economic difficulties and We should be on the look out for those who are struggling.

It is at times like these that We are more prone to pray. We seek God’s strength for:

Philippians 4:13 

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

With that thought in mind I wish You the best in navigating obstacles. I urge You to pray. Have a peaceful and restful Sunday before an excellent week ahead. God Bless You All.

Lord, thank you for your greatness. Thank you that when I am weak, you are strong. Lord, the Devil is scheming and I know he desires to keep me from spending time with you. Don’t let him win! Give me a measure of your strength so that I might not give into discouragement, deception and doubt! Help me honour you in all my ways. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
