Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine, I trust that You are well this Sunday morning. Winter is coming, as the clocks went backwards one hour at 2am this morning. This gave us an extra hour in bed as we prepare for the colder months when the sun sets earlier and days get significantly shorter. The clocks won’t go forward again until Sunday 31st March 2024.

This week please pray for those suffering in the Middle East. Also for others suffering in the UK and across the world. As Christians We want everyone everywhere to encounter God’s love and be empowered to transform their communities through faith shared in words and action.

I pray to you on this Sunday morning. I come before you in gratitude for all that you have done for me. Your word tells us in Psalm 68:19 “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits; the God of our salvation!” I thank you for blessing me each and every day with your love and grace. Amen

Heavenly Father, this morning and all of history are about You. Please help me worship You with an undistracted heart. You know how my mind wanders to my upcoming week, present worries, and thoughts of others and other things. Help me put those thoughts away and focus on You and Your glory. Amen
