Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine, I trust that You are well and healthy. This time of year so many people seem to have flu, Covid or some other illness.

This week I would like You to pray for the dying. Of course, We are all dying. Death is not something We should fear. Nonetheless, Life is a gift in which We should rejoice:

John 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

You may know someone who is dying, or have a pet nearing their end days on Earth. I pray for them. Below is a prayer You can use for them too.

Lord Jesus, holy and compassionate: forgive N his/her sins. By dying you unlocked the gates of life for those who believe in you: do not let our brother/ sister be parted from you, but by your glorious power give him/her light, joy and peace in heaven where you live and reign forever and ever. Amen
