Government by Sixth Form

This is going to be the most interesting General Election of our lifetimes, for sure. By ‘interesting’ we mean in the sense of the Chinese curse.

The choice for voters is truly awful. Essentially, we will be forced to forgo our principles and sense of common decency and vote for the least worst option on offer. The bar couldn’t be lower.

General Elections normally offer hope. This is not the case for this vote. This is not a choice; it is emotional blackmail.

It is hugely frustrating that what we always knew—that our government is useless at everything and that its machinery (civil service and bureaucracy) is morally and professionally bankrupt—has created a self-defence process whereby its survival is baked into whichever result is produced.

This is not in the interests of those who fund the whole steaming mess. And this fact, if not already understood, should become abundantly clear between now and the 4th of July.

This leads to what we suggest will be the principal emotion in the minds of voters as they troop into the voting booths. At a major event such as a General Election, politicians endeavour to inculcate hope and confidence in the future for voters—a national reboot by any other name.

In this election, the dominant emotions will be anger and desperation. And negative emotions are normally accompanied by irrational behaviour. We have been gulled, deceived, and we are embarrassed. Quite how this translates into the mathematical process remains to be seen. As such, psephologists and campaign planners will find it impossible to gauge the public’s mood. This is not a traditional election—far from it—it is a reckless gamble by the so-called leader of a political party in name only.

All bets are off. Sunak has been forced into calling this because the social destruction he is responsible for (as the incumbent) is catching up with him. He is a desperate man doing what desperate men do.

Dear God, the gap between politics and the people was traditionally interplanetary; it is now intergalactic. The country is being domestically abused by its politicians. Its natural humour, sense of self-worth, and purpose are being systematically beaten out of it.

The cycle has to be broken. This is a great country when measured by its population, history, and ingenuity.

There is, we suggest, a context for this. The much-vaunted peace dividend at the end of the Cold War, a victory produced by focused leadership (for the most part) and a supportive public, has perversely produced in the intervening thirty years a feckless, weak, and deceitful conjuring act masquerading as government—in charge of everything but responsible for nothing.

It is the great paradox of our time. The Soviet model was beaten ideologically and financially by a better, capitalist model. Freedom and prosperity reign. However, the Left never sleeps.

To our collective detriment, our populations have sat back and allowed the Left’s mind virus to infect various national political models and the supranational organisations — the UN, EU, and frankly the principal ministry of propaganda that ensures the public receive the ‘right message’, the BBC — that now control and shape global events (for the West) ensuring ‘we’ remain in manageable compliance with this nonsense.

The most egregious example of this externally driven, Left Wing affront to the population of the UK, and by inference the biggest failure of politics, is the continued adherence to an out-of-control ECHR. By subordinating UK Law to the ECHR in 1998 (through the Human Rights Act) the Blair creature ensured this foreign court prevails over domestic law, perverting our laws to such a degree that, by design, the UK is in a constant state of defending its (the people’s) interests, and mostly losing to some of the worst criminals walking the planet.

And, most damagingly, it is this same ECHR Left Wing purview that civil servants constantly quote as their legal right to defy UK Government policy and, in some cases, bringing legal actions against the Government. As a single example of the proverb ‘Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad’, this conservative in name only Government continues to inexplicably support the clear abuse.

Well, it is inexplicable for true conservatives, clearly not for those of a Left Wing persuasion.

The whole shebang is a socialist construct. The first named suspect is the aforementioned Blair, who rejoices in ‘changing politics in the UK’—he did that alright. And his inbred offspring embedded within the only capitalist political party in the UK finished the job. It is little wonder that China and Russia are enjoying a period of dominance—the West is following their socialist playbook. Thanks very much.

The reason why every public institution in this country has failed or is failing after extraordinary amounts of taxpayer cash have been spent—why we cannot defend our borders, why our institutions are morally bankrupt and incapable of any form of service delivery, why the NHS and the Post Office have become the laughing stock, why we have circus clowns as politicians who insult our sensibilities on a daily basis—is because our national model is our version of the failed socialist model. Just that few see it or are prepared to admit they see it.

Get ready for the Sixth Form to be in government. They will be happy in the knowledge that they don’t really control anything. They are not really in power; they are in pantomime. That is not the point. UK governments exist merely to ensure the socialist model continues by signing the country up to ever more international agreements that control us.

Our part is simple. We are no longer voters in the democratic sense. We are donors, and we must do what we are told (by the Ministry of Truth) and dig a little deeper to fund the mounting failure. The punishment beating will, of course, continue. It will be good for us—apparently.
