A Prayer for the Weary of Heart

VICAR

Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine, I hope this finds You in good health and spirits, enjoying the blessings of each new day. This week, let us turn our hearts to those who carry heavy burdens—the weary, the discouraged, and those who feel weighed down by life’s trials.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28). These words remind us that no sorrow is too great for God’s comfort, no fatigue beyond His renewal.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father,
I lift before You all who are weary in body, mind, or spirit. Lord, You know the silent struggles, the unspoken aches, and the exhaustion that lingers like a shadow. Pour out Your peace upon them, as gentle as morning dew, and remind them that they are never alone. Grant them rest, not just for their limbs but for their souls. Replace their heaviness with hope, their fatigue with faith. Guide them to moments of stillness, where Your presence can mend what feels broken. Lord, for those who care for the weary—the hands that lift, the hearts that listen—bless them with endurance and compassion. May they reflect Your love in every word and deed. Amen.

May this week bring you moments of grace and renewal.

Have an excellent Sunday and another excellent week ahead.

God bless you all.
