Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine, I trust that You and Your families are well and that Your Vitamin D levels have finally risen after We saw the sun this week.

This week’s topic is cancer.

If You’ve been diagnosed and ever wanted to voyage back in time and start over, hear the words of Joel 2:

“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you.”

At times, God sends locusts into our lives—trials, troubles and tests. Allow God’s light to shine on You, as you let his grace and mercy in. He promises to repay You (and your friends and family) for the years that locusts may have stolen.

God uses these trials to stretch and strengthen our faith. Believe that what lies ahead is better than what has been, and to trust in His great plan.

We are all praying for You.

May Your love and grace be a source of comfort as I face this battle. In Jesus’ name, amen. Dear Lord, I turn to You in my time of need. Fill my heart with hope and give me the strength to push through this trial of cancer. Amen
