Going, Going, Gone

A country with no faith, like an athlete with no belief, is just an empty husk.

Labour abolished our ancient blasphemy laws in 2008 when it pertained to Christianity with the Church of England’s very own blessing.

However, Labour is hinting at their reintroduction. Mainly, it would seem, to shield the religion of Islam from the bright lights of theological scrutiny.

Only a couple of weeks ago, Labour’s Tahir Ali, MP for Birmingham Hall Green, with Keir Starmer’s nodding approval, pushed for the introduction of strong measures to deal with Islamophobia and the “desecration of religious texts, including the Koran”, i.e. blasphemy laws.

In 2019, the Labour Party formally adopted the United Nations definition on Islamophobia, which states that it “is rooted in racism and is a type of racism that targets expressions of Muslimness or perceived Muslimness”.

Islamophobia being rooted in racism means, as was stressed approvingly during the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) discussion on British Muslims in 2018, that any criticism of Islam will be deemed racist, therefore subject to criminal law.

The APPG document makes things crystal clear: “there is no ‘good faith’ criticism of Islam”.

Interestingly, it is not just “criticism” that will be deemed problematic.

The truth, according to Islam’s very own most sacred texts, will also be beyond the pale, not least that Mohammed “married her (Aisha) when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old (Sahih al-Bukhari)”. He was over fifty at the time of the joyful union. Using the proper word to describe the sexual exploitation of a minor by an elderly man will be prohibited in the context of the peace creed.

To the list of Islamophobic crimes will be added reading Islam’s very own texts as well as 1400 years of accumulated historical and theological evidence and speaking to your friends about it.

Ominously, contributors to the report strongly believe that on this topic “race and religion are inseparable”.

Race and religion have nothing in common.

But in our leader’s fictitious world, this non-sequitur is as deeply held a belief as the obvious falsehood that a “trans man is a man”.

Do they actually believe it?

If they do, the insane are truly running the asylum. More likely, they don’t. But to pretend they do is politically expedient.

Legislating in support of lies and criminalising the Truth in the process is now official policy and nothing less than a Maoist-style power play.

The implications of transitioning Islam from a religion into a race are profound.

If Islam is a race; then, so is Christianity.

The former is BAME, therefore good; the other is white, therefore bad.

This reductionist way of thinking explains why a 2019 Foreign Office report, which found the worldwide persecution of Christians to be “at near genocide levels”, only met with widespread silence.

The report found that “245 million” Christians are “facing violence or oppression around the world”.

“The eradication of Christians” on pain of “the sword” is “the specific and stated objective of” Muslim groups “from “Syria, Iraq, Egypt, north-east Nigeria all the way to the Philippines”.

These groups’ objectives are evidently not just constrained to far-away places of which we know little but might also apply much closer to home.

Why the silence?

Because Black Christian Africans, as if by magic, have been transitioned into “Whites”.

As such, their (Christian) Identity imparts on them as much guilt, loathing and contempt, as an archetypal Brit, a Scot or a Black Conservative – the latter being nothing more than a “race traitor”, “Uncle Tom” and much worse.

We, in our formerly Christian country, are too enervated to react.

So deeper in the quagmire we sink.

As an example, Iqbal Mohamed, Member of Parliament of Dewsbury and Batley, stood in parliament to defend first cousin marriage because up to half of “all sub-Saharan African populations either prefer or accept cousin marriages, and it is extremely common in the middle east and south Asia”.

It’s widespread, he added, because family intermarriage is seen as “something that is very positive overall” and “helps to build family bonds and puts families on a more secure financial foothold”.

Whilst Iqbal is an independent MP, Tahir Ali, and as we saw, the Labour Party, presumably agrees.

Iqbal Mohamed MP could have added that child marriages, female genital mutilation, and “honour killings” were also widespread across the same regions and should therefore be approached with great cultural sensitivity and perhaps introduced to the UK in due course.

He didn’t of course. Not just yet. But it is only a matter of time.

Regardless, with Starmer’s backing, it will soon be a criminal offence to criticise Mohamed and Ali on all issues pertaining to Islam.

Britain’s ruling class have worked tirelessly, over the decades, to strip any vestiges of Christianity from the country’s institutions.

Having dripped acid on the cornerstone on which her glory was built, the country is finding herself utterly incapable of standing her ground against notions that would have been deemed grotesque only a few short years ago.

While the late Christopher Hitchens and Richard Dawkins, among others, worked tirelessly to dismantle our metaphysical understanding of the world we inherited from our forefathers, who built and sacrificed so much, they left the Great British Oak with its deep roots severed, putrefying – nothing more than a rotting stump.

Their unforgivable legacy has been their own people’s complete intellectual disarmament and, in a state of ever-increasing confusion, totally unable to defend their rich inheritance.

Indeed, nothing is more depressing than seeing the Church of England’s grandees celebrating “Pride Month” with more gusto than Christmas or Easter.

Their view, given the book on which their very own existence depends, should be that Pride is the mother of all sin from which sloth, wrath, envy, lust, gluttony and greed spring.

To do their flock justice they ought to be lobbying far and wide for humility, chastity, temperance, charity, diligence, kindness, and patience.

However, self-destruction is celebrated while moral discipline, the essence of the Sermon on the Mount, is cast aside.

With Truth the only real taboo, lest it offends, the United Kingdom has become a moral vacuum.

People are encouraged to throw the first stone, hate their neighbour, judge a book by its race or gender cover, eschew marriage and the family, accept the termination of millions of the unborn as societal advancement andassist in the suicide of the weak and elderly – Today a choice; tomorrow an obligation.

Pride comes before the fall. The Fall is at the gates. And Keir has the keys.
