VICAR
Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine, as we gather in thought and spirit this Sunday, let us turn our hearts to those who dedicate their lives to shaping minds—the teachers, mentors, and guides who labour tirelessly to illuminate the path of learning. In their quest to nurture wisdom, may they find strength, patience, and the enduring light of purpose.
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
(Proverbs 22:6)
These words remind us that every lesson taught, every life touched, is a step toward a brighter future.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, We lift before You the hands and hearts of those who teach. Lord, You know the long hours, the challenges faced, and the weight of responsibility they carry. Grant them patience in their calling and clarity in their words. Where there is weariness, renew their energy; where there is doubt, remind them of their profound impact. Bless their voices as they explain and encourage, their minds as they inspire and innovate. May their classrooms be places of curiosity, kindness, and growth. For those who face indifference or hardship, strengthen their resolve. Remind them that every seed of knowledge planted is a gift to Your world. Lord, for the stewards of young minds, grant discernment. May education always be a force for justice, compassion, and truth. And when the journey feels overwhelming, assure them that they are never alone—for You are the source of all wisdom.
Amen.
May this week bring you joy in the small victories, and may your work be a testament to the power of learning and love.
God bless you all.
