Good Day to You, Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine.

This week our very own magazine poetess Valentyna Holloway lost her father after a brave struggle with cancer. He and Valentyna’s family are in my prayers.

I thought that this Sunday Prayer we should honour our loved ones who have passed.

I send my personal condolences to Valentyna and any others of You who are grieving at this time.

I wish You all a Happy & Blessed Sunday and hope You get some rest.

Easter Sunday is on the 16th April this year. I hope that You will be able to at least put Your feet up that bank holiday weekend.

 

O God, the bestower of forgiveness and the lover of human salvation, we beseech Thee, of Thy tender love, to grant that the brethren of our congregation, with their relatives and benefactors, who have passed out of this life, may, by the intercession of Blessed Mary, ever Virgin, and all thy saints, come to the fellowship of eternal bliss. Through Christ our Lord.
