Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine I trust that this weekly column finds You well and healthy.
This week I would like to pray for one of the magazine team who lost their mother on Saturday morning to cancer just a year after losing their father. Please hold her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
Death comes like a thief in the night. Those words are so true. What can we do but ask for God’s protection for our loved ones and friends.
This week I have pinched a short prayer off the Web and I would like You to recite and repeat it while filling in the gap with names that matter most to You. When You are done, add the name of someone You dislike or even hate.
Life is too short to harbour grudges. We are all human. Ponder this truth while You pray.
I wish You all a wonderful week ahead and a peaceful Sunday. God Bless.
Dear Lord, I pray for [insert a specific person’s name]. Please grant them your peace, love and understanding, and please protect them from the evils of this world. Lord, please guide their paths and help them to make the right decisions — choices that will lead them where you want them to be.
