As we gather on this Easter Sunday, we stand in the radiant light of the Resurrection—a day of unshakable joy, triumphant hope, and the glorious fulfilment of God’s promise. The stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and Christ has risen, conquering death forever. Dear Readers of Country Squire Magazine, let our hearts echo the angel’s proclamation: “He is not here; He has risen!” May this day renew our faith, rekindle our wonder, and remind us that no darkness can overcome the light of His love.

“But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”
1 Corinthians 15:20

Easter Sunday calls us to live as Resurrection people—not bound by fear or despair, but set free by the victory of our Risen Lord. Let us carry this hope into every moment, knowing that life, not death, has the final word.

Heavenly Father,
We come before You on this most sacred day with hearts overflowing with gratitude and praise. As the dawn breaks and the world awakens to the wonder of the empty tomb, fill us anew with the joy of Your salvation. Thank You for the gift of Your Son, who bore the cross for our sake and rose in glory, shattering the chains of sin and death.Grant us the courage to live as Easter people—bold in faith, steadfast in love, and radiant with the hope of eternal life. Where there is sorrow, bring comfort; where there is doubt, bring faith; where there is darkness, let Your light shine unending. May the truth of the Resurrection transform our lives, that we may bear witness to Your redeeming love in all we do.

As we celebrate this day of victory, unite us with believers across the ages, rejoicing in the unbreakable promise: Christ is risen—He is risen indeed!

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.

God bless you all.
