The Race of the Swift

The race is on to save our country. And it starts in the stables of possibility this Christmas.

Boxing Day 2025 looks like becoming a mass demonstration. Families plan to mobilise in support of farming and hunting on the Feast of Stephen. Up and down the land Boxing Day meets are set to attract record crowds.

It’s a picture to gladden the heart. Red-coated riders, horses and hounds clatter across cobbles while jovial supporters quaff pints. Wisecracking Falstaffs rub shoulders with students and troubadours in a tableau unchanged for centuries.

Meanwhile deep in their dungeons of darkness government necromancers continue with a sinister ‘animal welfare strategy’ targeting British farming with a renewed welter of red tape. And, of course, Starmer’s vegan-vengeance machine plans to outlaw trail hunting altogether. (Labour are already rocking on the farmer inheritance tax).

Make no mistake about it: The suppression of free Britain looks set to step up in 2026.

How easy it would be to despair and sink into a slough of despond. Yet to do so is to hand victory to our oppressors. We shall never surrender. This bestial country-cidal regime cannot last much longer.

Fret not. Instead join other like minded folk for a drink and a chat on Boxing Day. Toast off hounds and follow on foot – it’s the best way to work off roast turkey and plum pudding. What’s more, a day’s hunting provides the perfect rationale for another sumptuous dinner of turkey and mash, Christmas cake and refreshing draughts of ale.

Starmer and his Christmas-bashing Cheka may think they have the countryside subdued. Are we subdued? Not a bit of it!

Our ruling elite plans to usher in their globalist co-conspirators to rip up centuries of tradition along with our hedges and spinneys. Really? Boxing Day is a warning. A popular political uprising is sweeping Britain. Firms ruining the countryside with turbines and mirrors will be taken to task when we, the people, take over. Depend upon it. Similarly Labour’s lunatic legislation will be dismantled and reversed.

Our job is to hold our farms, hounds and horses, faith and family firms together until we sweep away this emerging authoritarian dictatorship. The next General Election may come sooner than we expect. Be ready.

We may be a people walking in darkness – but we have seen a great light. We can win this if we stand firm and refuse to allow the enemy to browbeat us. ‘The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong….yet time and chance happen to them all.’ (Ecclesiastes 9:11).  Always remember it was representatives of the local farming community who came first to the stable at Bethlehem. Merry Christmas and happy hunting.
